About Me

Welcome! I am Bill Wang (汪磊).

I am a postdoctoral fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, working with Professor Peter Bergman. Previously, I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from The Ohio State University, where I was advised by Professor Jason Blevins.

My research examines how public policies affect equity. My work focuses on:

• algorithmic fairness;
• statistical discrimination; and
• the design of targeting policies for vulnerable populations.
